PRIVACY POLICY
a.) Personal Information Collected from Clients
If you're in the US, by law we have to record at minimum the client's name, DOB, and address. We're also required to document every attended session (date, time, location, and interventions used). But all info is protected by HIPAA - no one can access your record without your permission.
b.) Purpose for Collecting Personal Information
A therapist collects personal information to effectively provide treatment by building a comprehensive understanding of a client's background, current challenges, and needs, allowing them to tailor therapy sessions and track progress over time, while maintaining confidentiality and using this information solely for therapeutic purposes; this includes details like contact information for scheduling appointments and communication. It also includes succinct summaries of sessions for insurance purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
