Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.
No one was given a playbook for life. It is common to have parts of life that are amazing and others, well, not so much. We all have the human condition. We are human beings that feel and sometimes think not think and sometimes feel.
There may be a different/better way to handle those times when we are overwhelmed, and our usual means of coping don't work. Depression, anxiety, fear, perfectionism, and substance use has the potential to take over a more substantial part of life than wanted.
We may struggle at work, with family, relationships, doing something too much or too little or a general sense of being stuck without making any progress.
Even professionals including physicians, nurses, executives, and attorneys face these issues. Education and success offer no immunity to the everyday problems of life.
